Inadequate air conditioning leading to discomfort!!! Slow check-in process didn't help the overall experience. Shower design flaws cause water leakage and inconvenience!!! Rooms often lack views as advertised, diminishing the stay's enjoyment!!!

Had good stay on my last night in this hotel. I asked for standard room and it was freshly renovated with a view of the basilica. I thoroughly enjoyed particularly good location minute walk from a Renaissance opera house.

Why it's almost great (but not quite)
The location is perfect, just steps from popular sights, and the staff consistently provide friendly service at every touchpoint.
The air conditioning in my room was inadequate, leading to discomfort , while the shower had design flaws, causing issues with leaks.

My suite had two rooms and two bathrooms, perfect for a couple. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the staff were very helpful. I loved the location, just two blocks from the Danube and close to the Metro.

No slippers or bathrobe in the room. Breakfast is quite modest, but you won't be hungry.
